The New England Humanities Consortium promotes and strengthens intellectual collaboration, interdisciplinary exchange, and innovative educational, intercultural, and curricular programming among New England Humanities centers and institutes, and the faculty, students, and regional, national, and global communities they serve. In bringing together humanities leaders at liberal arts colleges and research universities in the New England region, we seek to affiliate humanities institutes for broadening public outreach and enhancing visibility, to reinforce our students’ understanding of the vitality, value and direct relevance of the humanities in today’s world, to prepare students for the globally dynamic job market, and to serve as a catalyst for faculty creativity and research. The mission of the New England Humanities Consortium is to act as a critical interdisciplinary and integrative platform that fosters transformative ideas and educational programming within the New England region and beyond.
